Robert Delval is a French artist, born in In , he began his studies at the Haute École Claude Bernard in Paris. This is when he realized his first gouaches. Robert Delval found his stylistic impetus in Bonnard and Matisse, but quickly went on to forge his own sense of space and color. His works are semi-abstract «fields» of color.
